The issue is whether the employees of a commercial feedlot are excluded from its coverage under the agricultural labor exemption clause. Classification proceedings initiated by the state labor commissioner, Darrell D. Carlton, to make Brookover Feed Yards, Inc. liable for contributions for coverage of its employees under the act culminated in the commissioner's decision dated September 11, 1969, holding Brookover liable for such contributions commencing with the year 1963.
